Malaysia Hotels and Accommodation
Search and Compare the Best Hotels In Malaysia
Hi! Edwin here to talk about Hotels in Malaysia so that you can find the best deals that suit you.
If you get the impression that Malaysia is all about expensive 5-star and only most expensive World-Class hotels in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, then all I can say is that you were hard sold.
While it is true that Malaysia plays host to one of the best groups of hotels (at extravagant prices), it is unfair to ignore the smaller less known hotels that give clean comfortable rooms, excellent service, albeit no frills but liveable rooms that accommodates travelers of lower budget such as backpackers.
My point is, whatever your budget is, Malaysia has a room for you. There are backpackers’ lounges below RM 50 a night, even in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This could even go lower at smaller towns and cities in other states.
Even locals are sold by this budget no frills concept. With Air Asia pioneering the low cost air flights, they introduced Tune Hotels which provides complimentary services to its flyers, i.e. low cost accommodation.
However, if you are still insisting to splurge on staying in the best hotels, then checking in at Mandarin Oriental located right next to the famous KLCC Twin-Tower. Initial reviews from my business associates are above average to excellent with prices starting slightly above RM 1,000 to RM 7,000. They particularly liked how close they were to almost everything including tourist attractions, cultural and heritage sites and of course the famous Kuala Lumpur nightlife.
There are also many other big names 5-Star Hotels within the perimeter of Kuala Lumpur, such as Ritz Carlton, Sheraton and Shangri-La. A short drive away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, you have the Le Meridian and Hilton both located side by side at KL Sentral.
We notice there are more and more hotels sprouting all over Malaysia so there will always be choices. Most Hotels have a restaurant within their premises so you do not necessary have to drive out to eat. Even so, if you would like to just relax in your room, most hotel do provide in-room dining experience.
We would like to share with you a Search Hotel tool from HotelsCombined.com that I have personally used to check room rates and compare prices for my foreign guests upon request.
You may use the tool for free to find hotels available at your destination and compare features and prices of nearby hotels so that you can be sure you have got the best deals.
